More than a century and a half before Anne Hathaway cried herself dry playing Fantine on the big screen, Victor Hugo wrote in Les Misérables (1862) "To err is human. To loaf is Parisian". He was so right. Paris is the most beautiful city in the world (note that I say "beautiful" not coolest, most advanced, smartest, etc.) Very cliché, I know, but I have not found any other city that can dethrone Paris in beauty, style and savoir-faire AND that can offer so much visual pleasure just by walking on the streets. And just like Victor Hugo said, I roamed Paris aimlessly and took many, many pictures. Here is a collage of some of my favorite random shots. Amusez-vous bien.
